Produced by: Nervous Ninja Content from: Nervous Ninja, JangaDance and DaPill Okay so here it is, first episode of the underrated/Forgotten videos. I started with this Halo 2 montage that was released in mid 2006, that in my opinion took gameplay-themed montages to a new level. I wanted to have a background story of the montage, but never really got the information I wanted, it was my own fault as I didn't really dig much into it. This montage features Warthog kills in two thirds of the montage, followed by MM clips (Mostly Team Hardcore as it seems.). The thing that impresses me most about this montage is how well this intro is edited. Considering that it's almost 5 years old, and was released when fancy effects hadn't even been seen in many videos, it was a revolution of it's time. Not only because of the editing, but the gameplay itself is at a high caliber, we see multikills going further than killtaculars (4-row in H2) on a Warthog gauss turret while driving around walls and inside thight passages. Shots where you barely see someone, long range. And the drivers are simply amazing, they drive through buildings like it was on a slot track, while the gunner is still getting multikills in the madness, the guy at the side seat is even picking up long range multikills in some of those plays. I mailed Nervous Ninja on YouTube about the montage, but he never provided me with the video, later did I find Jester's account which had the montage uploaded aswell (Guy who played with them), and this time was I a lot more successful, we were discussing on aim for about an hour, but if he had to transfer the montage to me, would he have to backup his old harddrive which would take some time, as far as the conversation went, did I get a slight inside of how their group of friends was back then, and it's just about the same for me. We all got on each day to play Halo the way we loved. "Ah, that's pretty cool. And yeah, Nervous and Janga's vids were very pro for their own time I miss the old days playing with them and owning noobs on XBL" I was searching for this video all over the internet, but managed to find it in Ultimate Fragvid Collection, so shout out to them.
